During Genius Hour Ellie and I made hair tutorial videos and posted things to our blog about how to keep our hair healthy and clean in different ways. It was fun making these tutorials and helping people out with their hair.
Prevent frizz by using a paper towel to gently wring water out of your hair post-shower. The paper won't create as much friction as a towel so your hair ends up less frizzy. The paper towels absorb more water than a towel so it will speed up your drying time.

There are many options you can do when you don't really want to do anything with your hair: 1. braid to the side 2. ponytail 3. messy bun 4. leave it down and don't do anything to it but brush it in the morning 5. wear a headband with any hair style
Use a moisturizing product at least once a week that clearly says "moisturizing" on the bottle. Let your hair dry naturally, don't straighten or blow dry it too frequently. Go get your split ends trimmed often and make sure you have a good shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. Don't brush wet hair, use a small toothed comb. Rinse your hair with cool water, it will retain more moisture. And lastly, don't dye your hair, it will make it extremely dry.

To get the long, healthy hair you want you can do a number of things. You should get a trim often to get rid of the split ends. Drinking lots of water and eating a healthy diet will help too. When you are brushing or combing your hair you don't want to rip it out, start at the bottom and then work your way up. There are special shampoos and conditioners for different hair types so try those and also, minimize the use of heat that you use on your hair.
